Milo, a beloved dog in England, was diagnosed by a veterinarian with pancreatitis, inflammation of the pancreas, and given only days to live. Pancreatitis is a very serious, potentially fatal condition, especially in older dogs. His distressed owner, Vicky Horton, was told treatments were not working and to prepare for the worst. During two days in hospital, Milo lost four kilograms despite attempts at syringe feeding.

According to his owners' account, things began changing within 48 hours after he received CBD oil recommended by a close friend of Vicky's husband. After three eight-drop doses, Milo looked much better and slept comfortably for the first time in days. On waking, he ate normally and began retaining fluids again. His owners continued repeating the dose every six hours.

CBD oil has been successfully tested in animals and rodents as well as humans. Derived from hemp and offering various potential medical benefits, including anti-inflammatory properties, it contains the legally permitted THC level of 0.3% or less.
